The existing invention is crime evidence provider cum help seeker where the system is basically designed over cognitive model to give the machine the required intelligence of being situation aware of pervasive environment. The strength of the system will be in its design of integrating cognitive model with mobile and pervasive computing. For the communication part it uses well established mobile infrastructure. The system is composed of both hardware and software. This design gives the simplistic nature to the system further gives the hope it will comprehend the personal security of everyone by playing the role of presence of police informer cum help seeker, preventing crimes be happened. Without any doubt the system will pose heavy impact and trigger the development of e-governance projects in the departments associated with crime such as police, judiciary, forensic etc.
1. An intelligent hand-held device that automatically identifies the a crime or a threat situation comprises of two modules, a] a first module of the intelligent hand held device includes; i] a data collector unit , which comprises of a wireless camera , an image sensor , a global positioning system , a timer , a mode button  that includes a night option or a day option, and an in-house option or an exterior environment option; ii] a control and process unit  which comprises of a suspector unit , a software programme for initiating cognitive process , a software programme for decision process  to detect the threat level, a pretrained situation dataset , an intelligent classifier system , a case base  that includes plurality of complex scenes of incidence, an application controlled incidence specific invisible watermark; b] a second module of the said intelligent hand held device is a tightly coupled non-mobile system,  which consist of a multiple viewports with a meta-information characterized as a map location, a date and a time of a crime incidence along with an audio recorded evidence and a video recorded evidence , wherein collected from the module one; and c] the suspector unit , wherein the said unit suspects the threat by analysing any disparity in an audio recording , whereby a video recording  and the audio recording  are processed from a first frame of the audio recordings  and the video recordings  for detection of any threats, thereby matching with a plurality of prejudicial video objects from the pre-trained situation dataset  and the whole process is repeated if no threat object is detected, wherein if at least one threat object is detected then it is processed by the software programme for initiating cognitive process . wherein the said intelligent classifier system  confirms a detection of the threat, wherein the threat objects are classified with the case base ; wherein the said software programme is for initiating cognitive process includes two versions characterized as continuous learning process which continuously learns new threat objects whereby manual intervention with an user and fixed learning process is the pre-loaded case base ; wherein the software programme for decision process  seeks an immediate help from any known person from a contact list, sends an alert message and a voice call to nearby unknown mobile network, or person for seeking help, authenticates the hand held device providing evidence which is characterized as an audio/video object from the audio recordings  and video recordings  along with the meta informations characterized as, the date, the time, the global positioning of the crime or threat scene to an appropriate tightly coupled a non-mobile system  or an authority, wherein the said evidence comprising of audio/ video objects are provided with an application controlled incident specific invisible watermarks.
